Nathan Peterson, one of the Hildebrand Boys, answered my questions:
Q: Are you still a member of the National Guard?
A: Yes
Q: If so, is your compensation from the National Guard funded by taxpayers?
A: Unless someone started privately funding the U.S. military, yes, I am assuming that it is still taxpayers who fund the National Guard.
Q: Doesn't Chad Schuldt have problems with taxpayer funded politically active people?
A: I don't know how Chad Schuldt feels about my military service or my blogging activity.
His last answer is pure BS. These guys worked hand in hand in Ohio. So he doesn't know hw Chad feels about it? BS! They just can’t hold themselves to the same standard that they hold conservatives. [A Sibby Online reader reminded of Schuldt's reaction when his brother used a Sioux Falls school system computer to comment on Chad's web site] To them that is an insult:
We should use this opportunity to futher political discussion in our state, rather than devloving to childish name-calling and personal attacks against our blogging colleagues. If I have posted anything that would qualify as such, I apologize and will work to avoid such statments in the future.
For the benefit of our readers, I would ask you and other SD bloggers to join me in a committment to examine the issues that concern us and the politicians that represent us
That was not what Peterson advocated a month ago when the issue was global warning:
Your argument is sad, Sibby. You should go back to posting about how much you don’t like Chad Schuldt, at least those were entertaining.
The flip-flopping Peterson has obviously gotten thin-skinned now that his identity is known to us. Rest assured I will be examining "the issues that concern us and the politicians that represent us". But I will also be holding the left blogosphere accountable when they can’t live up to the standards they set for everyone else.
Nice try Nathan, but I’m not "biting". If you don’t like personal attacks, then talk to your Democrat colleges who have attacked Thune's "paid" bloggers, John Thune and the "paid" bloggers after outing Jeff Gannon, and then attacked Thune after one of his friends is forced into bankruptcy due to the actions of the Democrat Iowa Attorney General. I will not stop pointing out just how pathetic the Desperate Delusional Dumped Daschle Disciples have become.
