Sibby receives email from the lying left

I received this anonymous email:

I just read an entry in your blog titled "Kranz goes anti-military". Surely you DO BELIEVE THAT PARENTS HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW THEIR CHILD IS BEING TARGETED AND BRAINWASHED FROM THE 9TH GRADE UP FOR MILITARY WAR MEAT, DON'T YOU? As a parent of 15 year old twins who have just entered their first year of high school and having received a letter from the high school principle with an attached letter from the US MARINE CORP. 2 weeks before school started - I am appalled that you are shooting off your mouth about those who are attempting to inform parents of what the school is NOT INFORMING THEM OF! I refuse to have my sons die for George Bush's lies Mr.! Who in the hell do you think you are to say parents don't have a right to know what is going on in the dark crevices of the US government. Tell me this - are you encouraging your OWN CHILDREN to sign up for the military??? Are you encouraging YOUR OWN children to DIE FOR A LIE????

You Bush lapdogs amaze me. You cheerlead for war as long as YOU YOURSELF DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT IT! You are more than willing to send other people's children off to fight an illegal war while you sit and play armchair general. Having had 2 brothers who fought in Vietnam, I most certainly do have MY EYES WIDE OPEN to the bullshit taking place under this corrupt and self-serving administration. I'll tell ya what bud - if you are so PRO-MILITARY - put an M-16 where your mouth is and go fight the war you appear to support. It is quite easy to support this war as long as it's OUR CHILDREN - NOT YOU - who is being brainwashed in high schools across this nation to fight it. Tear that bumper sticker off your car, slip into a military uniform, put an M-16 where your mouth is and go FIGHT THE WAR YOU ARE CHEERLEADING FOR!! But leave MY KIDS THE HELL OUT OF IT!

PARENTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECT THEIR CHILDREN FROM CHICKENHAWK WAR MONGERS LIKE YOURSELF. Does the thought really bother you? Does it bother you that the military is running out of war meat and parents are refusing to hand their child over for slaughter on a silver platter to serve your purposes? Well, tough shit - isn't it?

Here is my response:

I really doubt that you did read my blog titled "Kranz goes anti-military". If you did, you would not have to ask, "DO BELIEVE THAT PARENTS HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW THEIR CHILD IS BEING TARGETED AND BRAINWASHED FROM THE 9TH GRADE UP FOR MILITARY WAR MEAT, DON'T YOU?"

Here is what I said in that post:

"I don’t have a problem with their crusade. I am a promoter of informing and empowering parents."

The rest of your email is straight out of the far-left propaganda mill. There is little doubt that you are a card-carrying member of the lying left. The attacks toward the Commander in Chief that include calling him liar for believing what most everyone else did, including his predecessor, makes you an obvious fool for the far-left. Using "illegal war" for actions approved by Congress is another. Making false accusation toward those who you disagree with is all too typical of the lying left.

So try reading again, but this time with you eyes wide open, what I was taking issue on:

So it should have been clear that I have no problem with parents being informed that their children are being recruited by the US Military, Planned Parenthood, or anybody else while they are at school. Your hatred for President Bush has obviously clouded your ability to comprehend what you read.

But thanks for your email. It helped substantiate the lying left section of my web site.
