Democrats against lower energy costs

SDP points out that Stephanie Herseth votes against a bill to add more refineries. More refineries will help solve the supply problem that has increased the cost of energy. Instead of allowing the free enterprise system to provide affordable energy for us all, the Democrats are happy to allow energy costs to rise. This way they can make more Americans dependent on their big government with energy assistance funding. They could care less about how this will continue to add to the deficit and how higher energy costs will have a negative impact on the economy. Democrats do not make America stronger.
