SDP has pointed out that Chad Schuldt, the Clear Cut Kidder, blamed Republicans for the anti-Herseth letter campaign of Kurt Woodward, state coordinator for an organization called Progressive Democrats of America. Here is Schuldt’s false accusation:
My theory? Someone in the Republican Party is behind an effort to give the impression that Democrats aren't behind Representative Herseth and weaken her. And they are either doing it using out-of-state college students or they are just plain making up names to get letters planted. Which isn't surprising, considering the desperate situation they are in to field a credible candidate against the very popular Herseth.
But make no mistake about it, these letters are not coming from "liberals". If they were, I would know about it. I spend a little time in Democratic circles, and those who describe themselves as "liberal" aren't going around suggesting Democrats shouldn't support Representative Herseth. Peeved about specific votes, maybe. But to actually take the time to write letters to the editor and campaign against her? It's never been mentioned once. I'll go out on a limb a little further and say that 99.99% of the Democrats that I've talked to support Herseth 100%.
To me, this looks like a coordinated smear effort on the part of Republican activists -- certainly not "liberals" as the letters imply. But that shouldn't be too surprising considering its coming from the party of Delay, Frist, Rove, and Rounds.
Delay, Frist, Rove, and Rounds have all been victims of the Democrat attacks. Schuldt demonstrates how the Democrats need no proof to back up their allegations. The Democrats can’t win on the issues, so now they have resorted to the use of false accusations to fuel their smear campaign against their opponents. As I have stated before, the Democrats make false accusation while they themselves are the ones guilty of such acts. It is the Democrats who are conducting "coordinated smear campaigns’ with the help of the MSM.
Quentin Riggins is expecting an apology from Schuldt. I wouldn’t be holding my breath. To the elitist Democrats, they can do no wrong. They call themselves 'pregressive', but there is nothing progressive about the lying left.
