In the Denise Ross interview with Steve Hildebrand, he pointed out his lobbying efforts [see lobbying registration] with the Environmental Defense Fund regarding the issue of global warming. It is due to the efforts of these environmentalists that has resulted in no new refineries, that has lead to the fuel shortage, which has caused our energy prices to rise. I was amazed to hear Hildebrand blame President Bush for the higher gas prices later on in the interview, when it is the far-left environmentalists that he represents who are responsible for the shortage in refinery capacity.
Hildebrand also noted how global warming is of concern to Tony Dean as it is being blamed on droughts and threaten the habitat for ducks. I think I read about that in the Argus Leader. This brings me back to the 2002 South Dakota Senate race when the Hildebrand lead Tim Johnson campaign used Tony Dean to lie to us about Johnson’s position on gun control. And David Kranz was the mouth piece in the SD MSM for that propaganda.
UPDATE: I did find my post on the Argus Leader report featuring Tony Dean on the global warming issue. I also remember Nathan Peterson, one of the Hildebrand Boys, taking issue with me on that with a post on his now deleted blog. Who believes the Hildebrand Boys working for Hildebrand consulting aren't being paid to blog? SDP even covered a letter to the Argus Leader that Peterson wrote about global warming. SDP also noted he was paid by the Daschle campaign in April 2005.
