Sioux Falls now might have its first honest assessment of the number of hate crimes in recent years, after changes in reporting requirements and computer software at the police department provided more detailed data to the FBI for its 2006 crime reports.Hate crimes are defined as those where an officer thinks a bias rooted in traits such as race, religion or sexual orientation played any role in the crime.
Accurate reporting of hate crimes not only helps law enforcement agencies direct resources to the problem, but it also helps address the seriousness of a crime made more personal by a bias motivation, Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead said.
I wonder if they count the vandalizing of pro-life signs in 2006? I doubt it, I don't think the Cultural Marxists include violence directed at Christians.
