Just got a call from a reporter from the Mitchell Daily Republic saying that Representative Mike Vehle is running for the District 20 Senate seat in 2008. The reporter’s question was relative to the talk on the Internet about my running as an Independent. I said it depends on what the Republican Party wants to do with me. I did guess that Dr. Joe Graves, Superintendent of the Mitchell School system, would now probably go for the House Chamber. I confirmed with the reporter that I don’t want to run against Dr. Graves, and would rather run against Vehle.
