Todd Epp says this:
PP's South Dakota War College has returned to its #1 SD BNN ranking.
This blog, SD Watch, has returned to its typically high #3 SD BNN ranking after a weekly ranking of #16.
The only tear in the fabric of the SoDakBlogOSphere is South DaCola somehow retaining its completely unexpected #2 ranking. (Plus, SodaPop got screwed in a doggie beauty contest. So some work remains to fully restore equilibrium.)
But the Blog Gods are back in their place and everything is pretty much ok in the SD Blog Universe after last week's unexpected disturbance in The Force.
So what is that force, the top four South Dakota blogs according to Blognetnews are liberal, with number one being the blog run by RINO-CINO Pat Powers. So the South Dakota blogosphere is a lot like South Dakota itself. Both are being ruled by a liberal Republicans with conservatives getting no respect.
The number one blog should be Dakota Voice. But there seems to be a big problem. Pat Powers let it be known that being linked to is an important element to the Blognetnews ratings. I have noticed that my linkage to Dakota Voice posts is not being recorded by Blognetnews. [Note I have just linked twice.] I have sent an email regarding this to Cory Heidelberger. Who is listed as the administrator. I do not believe that this is specific problem is some kind of conspiracy, just an innocent technical over sight.
But there is a conspiracy in the South Dakota blogosphere itself. Todd Epp’s statement shows that we do have a partnership of Democrats and a liberal Republican, the same kind of relationship formed with the MAINstream coalition. Again, another similarity between the blogosphere and South Dakota. Both Pat Powers and Todd Epp go out of their way to link to each other, but are reluctant to link to this web site. Clearly the Blognetnews ratings can be distorted by two bloggers working together. Now I understand why they put so much pressure on me to allow comments. Instead of linking to me, they can just send me a comment. They sure as heck don't want this web site to get any credit. Well, I have changed my policy. I will no longer post comments from Pat Powers or Todd Epp. They have their own web sites if they want to respond to my postings.
These two bloggers are responsible for the liberal takeover of the South Dakota blogosphere. They are also responsible for giving influence over our domain to the liberal SD MSM. And Todd Epp showed their true colors with this comment:
Steve:
The Secular Humanism v. Biblical Christianity debate is your gig and probably not Pat's. If that's your focus, fine. I'd rather talk about politics on my blog and throw in some humor. I'm not interested in a debate as you suggest.
As to Chad Schuldt, I was never one of his favorite people nor he mine. I don't think it's fair to say I "promoted" him. I sometimes agreed and sometimes disagreed with Chad. I thought he was too harsh on people at times and pointed that out. He had his own sugar daddies in the Party and elsewhere He didn't need any sugar from me. I also wish him no ill will and hope he learned his lesson and turns his life around.
Best regards,
Todd Epp
Instead of debating the issues, Todd Epp and Pat Powers are about partisan politics that include personal attacks. They worked together to promote the slams issued by the SDBWM in 2005. They both claim to know the identity of the hate-filled author of that web site, but refuse to identify the person. Based on their very similar hatred toward Rush Limbaugh and myself, the author could very well be Pat Powers himself. That and now the Blognetnews hoax shows just how far some will go to manipulate others to serve their own self-interest. These liberals typically like to blame others for crap that they themselves are guilty of.
There is a very large faction of leaders in the SD GOP that hate conservatives. The MAINstream coalition was evidence of that. Pat Powers may have been critical of their ways, but he is the same in beliefs and spirit. Conservatives should not be fooled by his position on that organization. Pat Powers is the Judas of the South Dakota conservative movement. The conservative movement was running high after the John Thune victory in 2004. A movement that has been under attack since then by both Democrats and liberal Republicans. And 2006 showed the result of that effort was Democrat victories. And the liars of the liberal faction of the GOP want to blame those loses on conservatives. But the fault is their own. And look for further GOP set backs in 2008.
Thanks Todd for showing how Democrat and liberal GOP alliances are what you consider "harmony". I am sure your friends in the SD MSM agree.
[After thought: The biggest story last week was the Tim Johnson announcement that he could not debate during the 2008 campaign. And this post got the story rolling at 6:44AM last Friday morning:
I was at the Davison County GOP meeting last night, and the big discussion was that it was official that Tim Johnson will not debate Joel Dykstra at the upcoming August Dakotafest.
Many have said the SD MSM read this web site. My noon they were reporting the big news, but Pat Powers wants to take all the credit, with Todd Epp giving him all to credit. I don’t think the two even acknowledged this post, and that only supports the points I made in the above analysis. Look for Pat Powers and Todd Epp to join forces and attempt to distort the truth.]
