The Drive-by media is eager to blame conservatives for the shooting at the Holocaust Museum yesterday:
Happy Thursday! Did that controversial Homeland Security report on right-wing extremists (pdf) get it right? Several bloggers, commentators and news reports suggest it did, accurately predicting the deadly shooting at the Holocaust Museum.
"Civil rights activists say a string of recent attacks blamed on right-wing extremists, including Wednesday’s shooting at the Holocaust Museum, show that conservative critics were too quick to fault the Department of Homeland Security over an April report warning about the potential for such violence," reports Politico.
But then there is this:
RUSH: Reverend Wright is back. Yes, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright is back. The Hampton Roads Daily Press has a little blurb today. "The Rev. Jeremiah Wright says he does not feel any regrets over his severed relationship with President Barack Obama. … Wright also said that he had not spoken to his church member since Obama became president. … 'Regret for what... that the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I've been preaching for 20 years? Regret for preaching like I've been preaching for 50 years? Absolutely none,' Wright said. … Asked if he had spoken to the President, Wright said: 'Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office. ... They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is. ... I said from the beginning: He's a politician; I'm a pastor. He's got to do what politicians do.'"
So the Reverend Jeremiah Wright told the Hampton Roads Daily Press that "them Jews" are not going to let Obama talk to him, Reverend Wright.
Anti-Semitism is not a right-wing cause. If the Progressives want to be bigots and blame the shooting on a group, look at the radical left supporters of Barack Obama, which include his Muslim friends who truly do hate the Jewish people. Conservatives believe in the rights of individuals, it is the left who group people in order to implement their so-called "social justice". And let us not forget about Hilter and this:
The path we're embarked upon, in the name of good, is a familiar one. The unspeakable horrors of Nazism, Stalinism and Maoism did not begin in the '30s and '40s with the men usually associated with those names. Those horrors were simply the end result of a long evolution of ideas leading to consolidation of power in central government in the name of "social justice." In Germany, it led to the Enabling Act of 1933: Law to Remedy the Distress of the People and the Nation, and, after all, who could be against a remedy to relieve distress? Decent but misguided Germans, who would have cringed at the thought of what Nazi Germany would become, succumbed to Hitler's charisma.
And we have the ignorant, stupid and/or insane who have succumbed to the charisma of Barack Obama.
"Anti-Semitism is not a right-wing cause."
So the KKK are progressives then? Right... Come back to reality- anti-Semites exist at the extremes, left and right. The shooter was a frequent poster on FreeRepublic and an Obama birth certificate denier. He was a madman at war with our country, not a liberal or conservative.

Braden,
I agree the madman is not conservative or liberal. So why is the Washington Post column singling out "right-wing extremists"?
And the KKK is wrong to say the white race is above all others. That would be like saying "latinas" are supreme over "white men". Which Progressive said that? And which Progressive nominated that racist to the Supreme Court?

Except this madman was conservative, or at least right-wing. The man was for small governemnt, anti-muslim, and anti-Obama. Oh, and anti-Jew, and pro-natzi, and maybe it would help to read all the garbage he posted on line.

Sam,
You just discriminated against conservatives. Based on the actions of one man, you want to paint all conservatives as violent. As a "white man" I am offended.
Conservatives believe in Natural Law which is based on teh indivual, not groups. The group think is how "Progressives" think. It is Progressives who are creating racial and class hatred. Barack Obama is among the worse in that regard. He must not have got enough Blackstone while studying law.

No, just the nut-jobs. If you can't discriminate between the wack-jobs who espouse violence and the mainstream conservatives, then I just knocked all conservatives. Except I didn't. Just like the DHS report (initiated by the GOP) didn't. I mearly pointed out that this man was, in addition to his issues with whatever caused him to walk into the HM with a gun. Just the ones who advocate violence. They are not all "white men".
And, by the way, you just did the same thing to progressives. Nice. Kettle, calling pot?
