This one was a tough one. I did not like the vagueness of the children services comment. I supported the amendment and it failed. It was promised to me that the sponsor is going to fix the bill so that only the programs that are currently being provided will be allowed to continue, and that nothing new will be allowed.

I got a lot of emails from voters on this begging for the support as if not, the drivers improvement classes, current need services communities have started will be disrupted.

The Educrats could not kick the can of Early Childhood Indoctrination down the roads of South Dakota, so they used a carrot called Drivers Ed instead. Now the door is open and now the United Nations will have access to American preschoolers so they can tell them "how to feel". Five years of hard work to stand these radicals down now is wasted. Stace, you are not the only one who is frustrated with the legislative process.

Not so quick buddy. I was promised that the vague statement is going to be corrected to limit this to services already provided, when it goes to the Senate. This should be coming back, if it is not kosher when it comes back, I will vote against it.

Too many emails from people stressed they were going to lose the services communities already have them relying on.

OK, so they "may" charge a fee. How much? Will it cover the cost of any new or current program? What's wrong with people paying for driver's ed anyway? It is not considered an integral part of a "free public education." This seems to me a backhanded approach to get preschool provided on the taxpayer's dime.
