Freedom and the Daschle Democrats

SDP noted a Time report that details Tom Daschle’s reaction at the DC premiere of Fahrenheit 9/11 (also see DVT’s analysis):

Two weeks ago, at the Washington premiere, Moore sat a few rows behind Daschle. Afterward, says Moore, "he gave me a hug and said he felt bad and that we were all gonna fight from now on. I thanked him for being a good sport.”

As I noted, while in Mitchell on Friday, Daschle believes Franklin Roosevelt should be the model the Iraqis follow as they create their constitution. Then we have this WorldNetDaily report:

The Iraqi Communist Party is strongly represented in the new interim government in Baghdad and is getting U.S. taxpayer support thanks to a U.S. group led by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, reports Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, the premium, online intelligence newsletter published by WND.

Note Albright was Clinton's Secretary of State. As the World Socialist Web site and Hezbollah support Moore’s movie…and as Tom Daschle supports socialism for Iraq, America and South Dakota, should we have done more than just celebrate the 4th of July? Maybe we should have taken the time to understand what the Founding Father’s stood for...freedom and not socialism.
