The War on Terror or appeasement?

The hypocrisy on the left still amazes me. They want to argue that the GOP convention was about hate, yet they use words like 'Repugnican' to refer to Republicans. As I just stated, they are the dividers, not the uniters. They are the ones that are preventing a unified stand against terrorism. Instead they magnify every pimple on America's butt in a veiled attempt to blame Bush. Their main interest is regaining power. They are blinded to the negative impact they are having on America. Michael Moore is one of their cheif propagandist messengers.

Instead of fighting the War in Iraq, the left wants us to let the United Nations decide what America should do about the worldwide threat of terrorism, which is a policy of appeasement. One of the countries that opposed the War in Iraq was Russian. They should have learned the dangers of appeasement in the 1940’s, because now look at what their appeasement as done for them today:

The tragic events unfolded in the town of Beslan, in the North Ossetia region, near Chechnya, as Islamic Chechen terrorists with suicide-bomb belts seized the school Wednesday, taking as many as 1,500 hostages, later releasing some. The siege ended in explosions, gunfire and the screams of fleeing children as commandos stormed the building.

So what will the UN do about this? Probably the same as they have done with other acts of terror…pass a resolution.

The most focal anti-war country was France. How did the terrorists reward France for their appeasement:

France vowed Monday to press ahead with a controversial law banning Islamic head scarves in schools, despite demands by militants holding two French journalists hostage in Iraq that Paris revoke the legislation.

The left look to the GOP (Repugnicans) as the haters, will they appease those that truly do hate…the terrorists. Should we call those on the left unpatriotic? No, but we should question their judgement. Is this hate? No, but the left seems to think so. What is hate are those who are on the wrong side of the issue attacking the messengers. Hypocrisy is a staple for those on the left. And there is nothing progressive about this.
