From VoteYesForLife campaign:
"And I’m proud to say that the first vote I will cast as a South Dakotan will be yes for Referred Law 6," stated Sioux Falls Diocese Bishop Paul Swain at his installation Mass.
Swain’s assertive position brought attendees to their feet. The bishop’s long-awaited address revealed his stance on the protective legislation.
"We regularly pray for respect for life," Swain said, "but we also need to take advantage of opportunities to declare it and preserve it when we have a chance."
Swain mentioned the bipartisan support that Referred Law 6 receives. "It will better respect and protect the vulnerable unborn and the vulnerable mothers and declare the core value of respect for all human life," he said.
Leslee Unruh, VoteYesForLife.com campaign manager, expressed excitement about the bishop’s support. "I am inspired by Bishop Swain’s courage and compassion," she said. "He truly cares about the health of South Dakota families."
The pro-abortion folks idea of healthy families is dead babies.
