From Bruce Whalen:
SIOUX FALLS- Sen. John Kerry says if you don’t get good education you get stuck in Iraq.
It was shocking to hear Sen. John Kerry at a recent campaign stop in California: "Education, if you make the most of it, study hard, do your homework, make an effort to be smart; you can do well, if you don’t you get stuck in Iraq".
"Sen. Kerry should immediately apologize to the brave men and women that serve our county in Iraq and across the globe," Said Bruce Whalen Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress. Whalen went on to say, "I believe that Ms. Herseth should call on Sen. Kerry to denounce his statement and demand he apologize; this is the man that Herseth and her party wanted to serve as Commander in Chief. This once again shows that the Democrat leadership is week on National Security and can not be trusted to lead our military in this Global War on Terror."
Sen. John McCain, a decorated Vietnam Veteran had this to say in response, "the suggestion that only the least educated Americans would agree to serve in the military and fight in Iraq, is an insult to every soldier serving in combat, and should deeply offend any American with an ounce of appreciation for what they suffer and risk so that the rest of is can sleep more comfortably at night."
Senator Kerry had this to say in a written response today, "It disgusts me that these republican hacks who have never worn the uniform of our county, lie and distort so blatantly and carelessly about those who have."
"Kerry has the habit of name calling and offending America’s finest and those that support them," said Whalen.
