Mitchell paper pushes "SD would feel deepest sequester pain" as Daugaard pushes $5 million to French cheese maker

Today's Mitchell paper promotes a crisis that they assume will happen if we don't pass more debt onto our children and grandchildren:

South Dakota will feel deeper financial pain than any other state if the sequestration happens as scheduled — or threatened — on Friday, according to a report.

A Pew Center study claims that South Dakota would suffer the largest share of loss of federal grants as a percentage of state revenue from the sequestration. The federal grants that would be cut by the sequester total more than 10 percent of South Dakota’s state revenue.

Sequestration is the term being used for $1.2 trillion in cuts to federal agencies over the next decade. They will start Friday unless Congress and President Obama can reach a compromise, or, as they did at the end of 2012, delay the decision.

Gov. Dennis Daugaard, who was in Washington, D.C., for the annual National Association of Governors conference this past weekend, called for caution in the 2013 legislative session because of the looming possible budget cuts.

Bob Mercer reports that the 2013 legislature is instead adding more spending to this year's budget:

The state House of Representatives debated tonight a variety of amendments to the current 2013 budget for state government that runs through June 30. There would be a net of about $24 million of more spending, including a net of about $4.5 million more from state general funds. About $21 million is for the state employees’ health insurance program, which is under-funded. What you see are the ordinary expenses of state govenrment but the amounts are different, Rep. Mark Mickelson, R-Sioux Falls said. There was a challenge that the bill contains one-time funding and non-ordinary expenses by Rep. Stace Nelson, R-Fulton. He charged that the bill, HB 1060, violates the state constitution provision regarding appropriations. House Speaker Brian Gosch, R-Rapid City, disagreed. He said he’s read it and doesn’t find anything that would require a separate bill and a two-thirds majority. House members voted 57-12 to approve the bill.

As stated earlier, HB1060 adds $5 million to the Governor's budget to fulfill promises he made to a French cheese maker. A few conservatives and even fewer Democrats were among the 12 House members that voted against the bill. This is how the Democrat's big and expanding government is used to funnel money into the pockets of Big Corporations, that are supposedly the GOP's exclusive special interest. At least that is what the Democrat leaders are telling their Kool Aid drinkers. While the media has their readers focused on a fabricated Democrat vs Republican feud, the ruling elite (who controls both parties) are using government to take money away from us (and also our children and grandchildren) and line their own pockets. And Mercer tells us where some of the taxpayer's money ends up:

Gov. Dennis Daugaard finished 2011 with a cash balance of $358,103.40 in his re-election account, after raising more than double in contributions than the $139,112.84 he reported that his campaign spent in 2011. He greatly improved on that total in 2012, ending last year with $1,046,584.84 cash on hand. From individuals he raised $791,831.19 in 2012 alone. At this point the Republican seems to have the 2014 election field to himself. No one else has filed a campaign finance report for the office of governor.

Again, those with money control the elections and thereby the government. And their South Dakota legislators must feel threatened enough by those who expose their big government voting record as they are passing more campaign finance laws to find the identity of those who would spend more than $100 to tell their fellow citizens how their legislators vote. Even those on welfare probably could find $101 to spend on postcards, yet too many South Dakota Democrats are on board with the Republican's agenda to allow the wealthy to excercise retribution on those who are too out spoken. But of course they first have to find out who they are. So much for the First Amendment.

Campaign finance laws are more about exposing the little guy than it is about the little guy finding out which money is controlling their elected officials. Anonymous speech is suppose to be protected. But that right is only for Pat Powers and his anonymous commentors who are protecting the Establishment, who pass out their marching orders at meetings such as the National Governors Association (as the Mitchell paper noted Daugaard's involvement). Check this out:

Setting goals, and designing visions and missions for groups of people is one of the favorite preoccupations of the New World Order philosophers and managers.  In education, goal setting and visioning serve to CONSOLIDATE policies so the NWO/NCSS curriculum can be established in schools throughout the country.  When you hear someone who uses the phrase, ‘We must. . .’ or variations of it such as, ‘We need to. . .’, ‘It is essential that we. . .’, etc, without adding, ‘if we wish to . . ,’ there is a pretty fair chance that person is trying to convince you to give up the idea of independent research and thinking so you will support whatever program or goals he or she might be promoting.

It is unfortunate that few of our congressmen, state, county, and city legislators have been alert enough to detect the behavior management and CONTROL that have been directed toward them.  Many of them have been deceived, flattered, coerced, bribed or blackmailed into surrendering their legitimate authority to New World Order decision makers.  This, too, was planned.  In 1906, sociologist Lester Ward explained how NWO legislation could be achieved:

It must not be supposed that such legislation can be conducted to any considerable extent in the open sessions of legislative bodies.  These will doubtless need to be maintained, and every new law should be finally adopted by a vote of such bodies, but more and more this will become a merely formal way of putting the final sanction of society on decisions that have been carefully worked out in what may be called the sociological laboratory.

Goals 2000 - Control is the Object

Most of the governors of the United States are members of the National Governors' Association.  They have national meetings to CONSOLIDATE their policy decisions. In 1990, a policy was declared to promote the adoption of national educational goals.  The Republican Bush Administration had endorsed the idea in 1989. Multinational corporations and the U. S. Chamber of Commerce supported it.  Then, in 1994, Congress (Democrats and Republicans) passed and funded the Goals 2000: Educate America Act.

Originally, social studies was not included, but the NCSS saw to it that social studies was annexed to the national agenda.  Its leaders appointed a task force to develop CONSOLIDATED curriculum standards.  These were later adopted in most states as part of the Goals 2000: Educate America Act. Eight goals were chosen and publicized. The eight educational goals of Goals 2000 were not the important part of this operation.  Any goals that sounded good, along with the money promised, could have enticed governors and state legislators to pass enabling legislation in their states.  The real goals of Goals 2000 are to CONSOLIDATE leadership over all the states; CLAIM jurisdiction over curriculum to CONTROL what you and other students learn; and eventually to COMMERCIALIZE and CONTROL all educational resources through the use of charter schools and culture vouchers.

It is no surprise to find now that the eight publicized goals have not been reached—and will not be reached by the Year 2000.  Does this mean that CONSOLIDATED goal-setting and visioning will be discontinued?  On the contrary!  To the goal-setters it means merely that the Goals 2000: Educate America should be renamed, America’s Education Goals, and should be extended beyond 2000 without a specific deadline.  Even when failure is obvious and promises are not fulfilled, CONTROL, once gained, is never willingly relinquished by the NWO and United Nations regional government promoters.

Now we should better understand the true agenda behind Common Core Standards and Obama's NCLB waivers as they are the "renamed" Goals 2000. How many Republicans think the Educrats are exclusively a special interest of Democrats? Time for members of both parties to set down their Kool Aid and start thinking for themselves, instead of thinking the way they were taught to think by those who seek to control the world...and that includes you, your children, and your grandchildren.

So I have been honored (or dishonored) with Pat Powers' quote (or misquote) of the day:

“I support cutting education another 10%…..  I oppose the fascist cheese factory and the European socialists who have rewritten America’s history textbooks.”

When a fascist provides propaganda, he doesn't give the Kool Aid drinkers the whole story. Here is what I said:

If you Educrats continue to attack the Constitutions of the US and SD with you[r] gun-free totalitarian police state agenda, then I support cutting education another 10%. We can start with French teachers. I oppose the fascist cheese factory and the European socialists who have rewritten America's history textbooks.

This was directed at Cory Heidelberger and his anti-gun agenda regarding schools. I highlighted the portion of the quote that Pat Powers cut. Since his wife is one of the Educrats who are working in the public schools system that only allow police officers to "bear arms", Powers seems to support the totalitarian gun-free police state we call schools. And what most don't know, UNESCO has been in the process of rewritting our textbooks since 1949 "as aids in international understanding". Most don't know this about UNESCO:

UNESCO's primary function is set forth in its Charter: "Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defenses of peace must be constructed.” UNESCO was created to construct a world-wide education program to prepare the world for global governance. UNESCO advisor, Bertrand Russell, writing for the UNESCO Journal, The Impact of Science on Society, said: "Every government that has been in control of education for a generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen ....”
The National Education Association was a major advocate for UNESCO. In a 1942 article in the NEA Journal, written by Joy Elmer Morgan, the NEA called for " ...certain world agencies of administration such as: a police force; a board of education ....”

A year later in London, the Conference of Allied Ministers of Education called for a United Nations Bureau of Education. UNESCO became the Board of Education for the world.

Huxley believed the world needed a single, global government. He saw UNESCO as an instrument to "help in the speedy and satisfactory realization of the process.” He described UNESCO's philosophy as global, scientific humanism. He said: "Political unification in some sort of world government will be required for the definitive attainment” of the next stage of social development. From the beginning, UNESCO has designed programs to capture children at the earliest possible age to begin the educational process.

William Benton, Assistant U.S. Secretary of State, told a UNESCO meeting in
1946:

We are at the beginning of a long process of breaking down the walls of national sovereignty. UNESCO must be the pioneer.”

UNESCO's views about national sovereignty were no secret:

"As long as the child breathes the poisoned air of nationalism, education in world-mindedness can produce only precarious results. As we have pointed out, it is frequently the family that infects the child with extreme nationalism. The school should therefore use the means described earlier to combat family
attitudes that favor jingoism.... We shall presently recognize in nationalism
the major obstacle to development of world-mindedness.

The UN and UNESCO were created in the wake of the worst war carnage the world
had ever witnessed.

Now keeping in mind the attack on nationalism, lets turn to the issue of the French cheese maker that is to set up shop neer Brookings, South Dakota (Pat Powers current home town). Buried in HB1060 is this:

Cory Heidelberger explains what is going on with the $5 million increase:

Governor Dennis Daugaard's French cheese subsidy passed its first hurdle yesterday. Near the top of House Bill 1060, the big pile of revisions to this year's state budget, is an additional five million dollars in "operating expenses" for the Governor's Office of Economic Development. That five million dollars covers the promise Governor Daugaard made to French cheesemaker Bel Brands to induce them to build a factory in Brookings.

So Pat Powers and his fellow SDGOP fascists have no problem with a governor bribing an international cheese maker with $5 million of our tax dollars in the name of creating jobs, only to pay a recruiting firm another $5 million to bring in out of state workers because we don't have enough South Dakotans who are in need of a job, so that the governor can bribe California dairies to come to South Dakota because we don't have enough mile for the French cheese maker, and which will then take another $5 million from us tax payers to provide the roads to transport the milk from the corporate dairies ,that Daugaard is planning to move from California, to that French cheese maker in Brookings.

Here we learn that the above lunacy is just another example of the universal fascist agenda:

A careful analysis of the money trail shows that the driving force behind the push for world government today is the power of multinational cartels: media, food, grain, industrial, mineral, oil and pharmaceutical, and their interlocking international prime banks operating through the Trilateral financial centers of London, New York and Tokyo, globally operating from the smaller hub of Basel-Zurich-Geneva.

Since 1990, when George Bush brought the phrase "New World Order" out of the closet (it was Adolf Hitler's pet phrase first) we have entered a new phase. The push for world government of, for, and by the transnational cartels is on in earnest. The globalists, being thoroughly multi-partisan, have continued to implement the agenda of their New World Order under Clinton, even while utilizing the right-wing in America to attack Clinton as a "socialist." This scenario has had the net effect of moving the whole dialectic further in the direction of universal fascism.

The multinationals have co-opted the language of Internationalism and are hastening the demise of nationalism because they wish to "globalize" the economies of all nations and "Balkanize" nation-states, breaking them down into provinces or bio-regions, the better to loot them of their mineral resources.

The key is to understand that the leadership of both parties may seem to be fighting like cats and dogs, but the above scenario is a common goal. The only fight perhaps is in which faction gets to control the world. And the above link also provides us with spiritual component that points to the creation of a "New Age Theocracy" in order to finish the one-world central control of all of us:

The "New Age" movement is being promoted as a "soft" or counter-cultural wing (essentially, the spiritual liturgy) of the New World Order in order to co-opt elements of society who are concerned with environmental issues and are opposed to imperialist aggression, but who have accepted the dialectic that globalism is the positive antithesis to nationalism, and that nationalism, not finance, is the cause of all wars.

Stanford Research International (SRI) in Menlo Park, the largest think tank on the West Coast, does contract research for the CIA, Bechtel, Kaiser, and 400 other corporations. SRI is actively promoting "New Age" consciousness. SRI was founded in 1946 by Stephen Bechtel of Bechtel Corporation, the biggest military-industrial contractor in the world. Bechtel also funds the Hoover Institution at Stanford, which promoted Ronald Reagan for president. The symbiotic relationship between SRI and the Hoover Institution, as the "left" and "right" wings of Bechtel is an example of how the power elite, through their co-opted think tank academics, are employing the Hegelian method (thesis-antithesis-synthesis) to create conflict and change, and implement by degrees their "New World Order," also called the "New Age." This is what is known as dialectics.

Sadly, neither Pat Powers or Cory Heidelberger are willing to set down the Kool Aid that leaderships of their respective parties are indoctrinating them with and instead think for themselves. They are providing South Dakota with the dialectical process that keeps most confused and ill informed. They are also taught to attack those who present the above truths as nut cases, mentally ill, and/or Christians. But I do give Cory credit for allowing me to provide some of my research on his web site, so I hold some hope for him and his readers. Pat Powers is a complete lost cause. Sad that he gets away with putting the conservative label on an agenda that is just as authoritative and liberal as Cory's. As long as the only choice is between SDGOP fascism and Demcoratic socialism, we will never get back to doing things the American way.

After South Dakota voters killed Daugaard's economic development plan, his handpicked legislators are secretly putting it back together with Democratic leaders drinking the same Kool Aid

Here is more stuff Pat Powers does not want his Kool Aid drinkers to read:

Protected from public view, some members of the Legislature and some top officials from the Daugaard administration along with a variety of lobbyists are working on a secret plan to offer tax breaks for economic development projects in South Dakota.

Nobody seems to know yet what will comprise the final mix that will be presented to legislators sometime in the 13 working days left of the 2013 session. Instead, hints seep out on occasions such as those Tuesday from several legislative leaders.

For instance, House Republican leader David Lust, of Rapid City, asked a committee to kill his bill granting sales- and use-tax exemptions for computers and related equipment at data centers if the purchases exceed $2 million and at least 20 jobs are created.

Lust said he wants data-center incentives placed instead in the bigger package that is taking shape.

The Senate voted 26-7 for the latest version of tax incentives for wind projects but, according to lawmakers and lobbyists, the legislation likely isn’t in the final version yet.

Nonetheless, Sen. Larry Rhoden, R-Union Center, urged its passage while acknowledging SB 195 isn’t “an end-all, be-all solution.”

One signal that the package is still forming came via the “nay” vote from Sen. Mark Johnston, R-Sioux Falls, who wants the wind legislation rolled into the bigger package, too.

The House of Representatives stopped its debates on bills Tuesday before reaching the combined proposal from Rep. Scott Munsterman, R-Brookings, and Rep. Dick Werner, R-Huron.

Munsterman’s piece would establish a system for relief of 2 percent sales tax on projects that meet city or county approval. Werner’s part would establish a program for state assistance to local economic development staffs. Those were put together last week by a House committee.

Senators on Tuesday, meanwhile, kept alive two empty measures sponsored by Sen. Corey Brown, R-Gettysburg. He said he thinks legislators are “exceptionally close” to completing a big package and both bills will be needed later for the final language to be inserted.

Senate Democratic leader Jason Frerichs, of Wilmot, said he appreciates the “palms-up” approach being taken in the formation of the plan.

He didn’t offer any further insight into what the plan might include but he said identifying a source of money is of “utmost importance.”

Frerichs added that much more discussion is needed.

The Senate approved one of Brown’s currently empty bills 31-2, with Senate Republican leader Russ Olson of Wentworth and veteran Democratic Sen. Larry Lucas of Mission voting against it.

The Senate then approved Brown’s other measure 30-3, with Democratic Sen. Jim Bradford of Pine Ridge joining Olson and Lucas as opponents.

In asking for the bill’s passage, Brown offered just four words: “Same song, different verse.”
