Cory Heidelberger, an admitted atheist, believes he can question the actions of Christians:
I maintain that if you can't take President Obama's words and actions as proof that he's Christian, then you can't really believe that anyone else is a Christian. There's more evidence available establishing that Barack Obama reads the Bible, prays, and goes to church than there is about you or anyone with whom you go to church.
And would someone please explain to me why it is so important to some Christians to prove that they are Christians and to prove that the President is not? Isn't it more important and more Christian to acknowledge that all are unworthy sinners—that you yourself are an unworthy sinner, as undeserving of God's grace as anyone else at whom you're pointing your finger—and to then focus on getting that plank out of your own eye?
Cory's position is unbiblical. 1 Corthinians 5 includes this:
9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister[c] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”
Since Obama claims to be a Christian and thereby on the inside, then we Christians can make judgement. Cory's "plank out your won eye" is out of context and yet another example of his many deceptions.
Would a true Christian support the Muslim Brotherhood:
Who is more deserving of punishment by the United States? Millions of Egyptians, for ousting the Muslim Brotherhood? Or the Muslim Brotherhood, for habitually terrorizing and murdering Christians, among many other crimes?
According to the unmistakably clear actions of the Obama administration, it is the millions of anti-Brotherhood Egyptians who deserve punishment.
Last Sunday, the Church of the Virgin [Mary] in Waraq near Cairo was attacked during a wedding ceremony, leaving four dead and many wounded. According to Dr. Hisham Abdul Hamid of forensics, two of those who were murdered were Christian children. Both girls were named Mary: 12-year-old Mary Nabil Fahmy, who took five shots in the chest, and 8-year-old Mary Ashraf Masih (Christ), who took a bullet in the back.
It should be noted that this scene -- attacked Coptic churches and murdered Christians, especially on holy days and celebrations -- has become a normalized aspect of Egypt's landscape (see Crucified Again: Exposing Islam's New War on Christians, especially pgs. 42-43 and 56-62).
...
Now consider the response of the United States concerning the conflict between Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood in the context of U.S. aid.
For years, human rights activists have been imploring the Obama administration to make aid to Egypt contingent on respect for the human rights of all Egyptians, including Christian minorities. Such a move would dramatically ameliorate the plight of the Copts, as all of Egypt, including the Muslim Brotherhood, are more interested in securing money than they are in killing Christians.
Instead, the Obama administration's approach has been 1) to ignore the plight of Egypt's Christians or 2) when attacks are especially egregious (and exposed by the MSM), offer perfunctory condemnation. (After all, if the administration was able to get away with the lip-service approach with Americans -- vocally condemning and promising to get the murderers of Americans in Benghazi but then ignoring it -- surely it will not hesitate to do so with a foreign nation.)
But as for making U.S. aid contingent on respect for human rights, the Obama administration has been idle.
On September 1, Egypt’s largest newspaper had a screaming headline: “OBAMA IS A MEMBER OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD!”
The article goes on to say that Khairat El-Shater, the number two man in the Muslim Brotherhood hierarchy—now in custody by the Egyptian military—has evidence that will put Obama is prison.
Kharirat El-Shater is singing like a bird, implicating our Muslim Brotherhood President, Barack Obama, but there’s no need. The Egyptian military, putting the horde of Muslim Brotherhood thugs on trial for murder, burning churches, and crucifying Christians, has found a treasure trove of documents, including proof that the Obama regime was funneling millions of dollars to the Muslim Brotherhood, having in hand the actual signed receipts.
Now step back to 1 Corinthians 5 in regard to sexual immorality. Unlike Bill Clinton, we have no evidence that Obama practiced sexual immorality, but he certainly supports such acts politically.
If Cory Heidelberger really want to be a Christian, perhaps he needs to work on getting his mind and heart focused on God's Word and not follow what his wife is telling him.
