It is now 2018 and Cory is still going after Senator Al Novstrup regarding issues during Cory's failed 2016 campaign run against Novstrup:
Grabbing for headlines with a hot-button issue but not doing homework… hmm… like when legislator Al Novstrup (R-3/Aberdeen) cites a fake news article to claim Sharia Law has taken over an American city? You’re right—that does aggravate us… or almost all of us.
If you go to Cory's link, Novstrup made no mention of an article...Cory did. And Cory's evidence is a press release from the City of Dearborn:
A satirical website called the National Report intentionally made up an article for entertainment purposes on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 about the City of Dearborn enacting sharia law over the weekend. The article is false; Dearborn is not under sharia law and has never at any time even considered such an action.
“Dearborn has never been, nor ever will be, under sharia law. We are governed by the U.S. Constitution, the Constitution of the State of Michigan and the City of Dearborn Charter,” said Mayor O’Reilly.
The Mayor's claim is a smoke and mirror tactic designed to hide the truth, that includes his own role in implementing Sharia Law in Dearborn. This activity is from 2010:
The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) announced today that the City of Dearborn, its Mayor, John B. O’Reilly, its Chief of Police, Ronald Haddad, 17 City police officers, and two executives of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce were named as defendants in a ninety-six page federal civil rights lawsuit filed in the Federal District Court in Detroit this morning.
The lawsuit, brought by TMLC and co-counsel and Sharia law expert, David Yerushalmi, stems from two separate police actions at the June 2010 Dearborn, Michigan Annual International Arab Festival.
Richard Thompson, TMLC President and Chief Counsel, commented, “Muslims dominate the political and law enforcement process in Dearborn. It seems that police were more interested in placating the Mayor and Muslims than obeying our Constitution. Sharia law makes it a crime to preach the Gospel to Muslims. This is a classic example of stealth Jihad being waged right here in America. And it should be a wake-up call for all patriotic Americans.”
The first incident occurred on June 18, when police jailed four Christian missionaries when they witnessed Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, a Muslim convert to Christianity, peaceably discussing his Christian faith with Muslim youths. The other three, David Wood, Paul Rezkalla, and Negeen Mayel, were arrested along with Qureshi for allegedly “breaching the peace.” The Christians were led away in handcuffs by police to the applause and cheers of Muslim onlookers who just witnessed a victory of Sharia law over the Christians.
The second incident occurred on June 20, as two missionaries, Rezkalla and Josh Hogg, stood on the public sidewalk handing out the Gospel of John to passersby willing to take them. The Christians were there for approximately 5 minutes when eight City police officers descended upon them, seized them, and brought them to the police command trailer located inside the festival where the Christians were admonished, photographed, and ordered to stop their peaceful religious activity.
The police assaults and arrests of the Christians, captured on video, caused a national furor over the lawless tactics of the City’s police department.
Dearborn is considered home to the largest Muslim population in America. As a result, it is evident that City officials, including the Mayor, engaged in this unconstitutional official action solely to please this significant voting bloc and to submit to its will. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Acts 17 Apologetics, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, David Wood, Paul Rezkalla, Negeen Mayel and Josh Hogg.

Robert Muise, TMLC’s Senior Trial Counsel who is handling the matter, stated, “While the videos of the police violating the fundamental constitutional rights of our clients are utterly shocking, it is perhaps even more shocking that City officials, including the Mayor, would engage in a propaganda campaign to smear the good reputation of these Christians even after they were acquitted by a jury of the bogus criminal charges. All of this is strong evidence of the fact that Sharia is negatively influencing the City and its officials.”
Sadly, we have this update in regard to Dr. Nabeel Quresshi:
The Christian community lost a wonderful man of God this past month, September 16, 2017. Nabeel Qureshi entered his eternal home after a year-long battle with stomach cancer at the tender age of 34. While Nabeel has left us, he has left behind a wonderful legacy that will impact countless individuals for years to come. How will Nabeel be remembered? I think that he will be remembered in three major ways.
1) Nabeel Qureshi will be remembered for his miraculous conversion
Nabeel recounts his miraculous conversion in his book Seeking Allah: Finding Jesus. Nabeel was raised in a loving Ahmani Muslim home by his Pakistani-American parents.[1]
While attending medical school, Nabeel was challenged by his good friend David Wood to examine the evidence for the Christian faith. Because of the challenges given by Wood and Christian apologist Michael Licona, Nabeel looked into the evidence and was amazed to find that Christianity had a compelling case for authenticity.
2) Nabeel Qureshi will be remembered for his passion for the lost
Nabeel was highly educated. He received his M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School, a M.A. in Christian Apologetics from Biola University, and a masters degree in religion from Duke University. Nabeel was pursuing a Ph.D. from Oxford University before he died. Nabeel had a passion for the lost.
He had joined the RZIM team, headed by famed apologist Ravi Zacharias, had frequently lectured to crowds across the globe, and was featured in a few debates in his young career. Zacharias noted that Nabeel was “not just an evangelical; he was passionately evangelistic. He desired to cover the globe with the good news that God’s forgiveness was available to all.
I have seldom seen a man with such deep conviction and proportionate passion and gifting. When he spoke, he held audiences spellbound.”[2]
3) Nabeel Qureshi will be remembered for his desire for love
In the last video Nabeel Qureshi posted before his untimely death, Nabeel said, “I hope my ministry leaves a legacy of love, of peace, of truth, of caring for one another. That is my hope and purpose behind all of this.” Nabeel never intended his ministry to be used as a means to attack Muslims, but rather as a means of exposing the truth of Christianity.
Nabeel went on to remind everyone that our God is a God of love. You can find Nabeel’s video below. One would be egregious to use Nabeel’s materials to attack Muslims when his goal was to demonstrate love. May we all be reminded through Nabeel’s life that God is a loving God.
In April 2017, Taneeza Islam provoked a hate campaign against another Arab American who committed the Sharia sin of converting to Christianity:
Two weekends ago, an armed Muslim man infiltrated a Christian conference held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, sat among the hundreds gathered, and filmed himself holding a copy of the Koran. After he was peacefully asked to leave by security, the man continued filming from his car, where he brandished three pistols and two assault rifles and threatened, “Be f***ing terrified.” So far, the man has not been arrested. [He was arrested 12 days later, as Cory Heidelberger claims he did nothing wrong]
The founder of the Worldview Weekend rally, Brannon Howse, said after running these conferences for the last 24 years in hundreds of cities across America, this one was like no other. He wrote an article explaining what happened:
Apparently an Islamic group in Sioux Falls held an event about 10 days before we arrived. The local paper reported that:
“Taneeza Islam, a local immigration lawyer and organizer for the local Muslim community, mentioned the upcoming talk during a panel on hate crimes Thursday at the downtown library in Sioux Falls. She cited speakers like Howse and Hadian as part of a prejudicial undercurrent that inspires fear among ethnic minorities nationwide.”
We were informed by the Sioux Falls Police Department that the Islamic Center of Sioux Falls South Dakota had filed for a permit to protest outside our Worldview Weekend rally. Joining me would be my friend, Shahram Hadian. Shahram is a former Muslim from Iran… Today Shahram is a Christian pastor.
“We knew protestors would be on hand,” Howse continued, “and so to protect the 500 plus in attendance at our conference, we hired four off duty police officers.”
It is Cory Heidelberger and Taneeza Islam who are guilty of promoting hate in South Dakota, with denials and false attacks on anyone who would dare commit the Saria sin of being critical of the Muslim Brotherhood's agenda. Cory made this demand of Senator Novstrup:
Faced with these facts, instead of bashing people who don’t share his religious beliefs, Rep. Novstrup should immediately take back his false statement about Sharia Law in Dearborn, apologize to reporter Chace for questioning her intelligence and research, and apologize to the people of South Dakota for perpetuating a false and harmful lie.
Cory again has things completely backwards. It is Cory who owes Novstrup an apology for promoting hatred by perpetuating Muslim Brotherhood falsehoods and propaganda designed to set the groundwork for their Civilizational Jihad by attacking their critics with falsehoods and denigrating them with false accusations of being bigots, racists, and Islamophobes. In a community ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood, Christians go to jail for handing out Bible tracks while Muslims have the right to freely threaten Christians who gather to hear from a Arab American who had converted from Islam to a Christian pastor. This is the South Dakota Cory Heidelberger and Taneeza Islam are trying to create.
In June 2017 I sent Cory a series of email warning him about the Muslim Brotherhood and Taneeza Islam's real agenda. Not only did he ignore those warnings, he is trying to ignore this web site even while some of his indoctrinated gang members are complaining about me. South Dakotans need to go to his web site and hold him accountable for creating a hostile environment in South Dakota for loving and peaceful citizens who are seriously concerned about the well being of this state. He can ban all South Dakotans except the few who want a place to go and spew their hate toward those they disagree with.
