Yesterday, I began reading the latest research called, "Hamas, CAIR, and the Muslim Brotherhood" by Ilana Freedman. On page 2 I found this:
Hamas’ primary goal, as described unequivocally in its Covenant (See Appendix I), is the violent destruction of Israel and the establishment of a global Islamic state ruled by Islamic Law (shariah). In May 2017, Hamas rolled out a new document with great fanfare (See Appendix II). Called, “A Document of General Principles and Policies,” it was intended to convince the world that Hamas had become a somehow milder version of its former self.
In reality, although some cosmetic changes were made to the original Covenant that it purported to replace, it remains the same declaration of enmity to the Jewish State of Israel that it has always been. The new text substitutes the term ‘Zionist enemy’ in place of ‘Jews’, and says Hamas accepts the 1967 ‘borders,’ but still does not recognize the Jewish State of Israel, a distinction which cancels out the concession on borders. Indeed, no Islamic entity could ever renounce jihad against either Jews in general or Israel in particular, because Islamic doctrine, law, and history all prohibit it.
The document also calls for “the full and complete liberation of Palestine, from the river to the sea” by means of armed “resistance” underscoring its continued determination to completely obliterate the state of Israel. Notably, too, this document rather belatedly and entirely unconvincingly tries to distance Hamas from its parent organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization that created it and to which it is inextricably tied.
Hamas’ role in the U.S. began in 1987, only months after it was founded in Gaza. Its original U.S. role was to raise funds to support its campaign of terrorism in the Middle East against Israel. Under the protection and guidance of the American branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas then expanded its operations in the U.S. to include the infiltration of American society, with the ultimate aim of turning the United States into an Islamic country, ruled under shariah (Islamic Law).
If this sounds far-fetched and hardly credible, Nihad Awad, co-founder and Executive Director of CAIR since its founding, publicly underscored the core principle when he read the key quote from the “Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,”1 at a 1994 symposium at Barry University in Florida:
“The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”One thing should be understood from the outset:
Hamas in the United States, as in Gaza, is the Muslim Brotherhood, and CAIR is its public face in America. The degree of deception that the Brotherhood has employed to support Hamas’ terrorist activities in the Middle East, while maintaining its secrecy in America, is perhaps stunning, but in accord with Muhammad’s dictum that ‘war is deceit’, entirely to be expected. In today’s world of political correctness run amok, the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan) and its off-spring, Hamas and CAIR (among thousands of others), have eaten into the very fabric of American life with only one mission – to destroy it from within, as the Explanatory Memorandum plainly stated, and as Awad publicly reaffirmed.
In October 1997, the U.S. State Department designated Hamas a terrorist organization, in accordance with “section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), as amended.”3 But while the designation may have implications overseas, Hamas operatives remain free to function throughout the U.S., protected by a network of legitimate companies and not-for-profit organizations, and behind the shield provided by its American face and voice, CAIR.
In South Dakota CAIR's face and voice is Taneeza Islam, as she frequently brags about her work as director of civil rights for CAIR-MN. She also braggs about how she stopped the passage of a resolution during the 2017 South Dakota legislative session that says:
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION, To urge and request law enforcement and governmental agencies in South Dakota to avoid and suspend all contacts and outreach activities with the Council on American Islamic Relations.
WHEREAS, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has suspended all formal contacts with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) due to evidence indicating a relationship between CAIR and Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization; andWHEREAS, one of CAIR's directors was sentenced to a year in federal prison for violating United States sanctions against Iraq; and
WHEREAS, a CAIR director in Virginia pled guilty to terrorism-related financial and conspiracy charges, which resulted in a federal prison sentence; and
WHEREAS, a communications specialist and civil rights coordinator for CAIR trained with an al Qaeda-tied Kashmir organization that is listed on the United States Department of State's international terror list and was also indicted on charges of conspiring to help al Qaeda and the Taliban battle American troops in Afghanistan and was sentenced to twenty years in prison; and
WHEREAS, CAIR's former community affairs director pled guilty to three federal countsof bank and visa fraud and agreed to be deported to Egypt after he had funneled money to activities supporting terrorism and had published material advocating suicide attacks against the United States; these illegal activities took place while he was employed by CAIR; and
WHEREAS, a CAIR fund raiser was arrested on terrorism-related charges and was deported from the United States due to his work as executive director of the Global Relief Foundation, which was designated as a fund raising front organization for a foreign terrorist organization by the United States Department of the Treasury for financing al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations; and
WHEREAS, CAIR opened its first office in Washington, D.C., with the help of a grant from the Holy Land Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the federal case against the Holy Land Foundation, a charitable organization that was shut down by the United States Department of the Treasury for funding Jihadist terrorist organizations, was the largest successful terrorism financing prosecution in United States history, and the case identified CAIR as a Muslim Brotherhood front group, and CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial; and
WHEREAS, the cofounder of CAIR's parent organization, Islamic Association for Palestine, was sentenced to prison on terrorism charges for financing Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a designated terrorist organization; and
WHEREAS, CAIR is heavily involved in the Syrian refugee resettlement efforts; and
WHEREAS, the federal government and private social organizations are resettling thousands of Syrian refugees throughout South Dakota; and
WHEREAS, recent Islamic terrorist acts across the world are a constant reminder that Islamic terrorist organizations continue to actively target innocent citizens of our country:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Senate of the Ninety-Second Legislatureof the State of South Dakota, the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the Legislature of South Dakota urges and requests law enforcement and governmental agencies in South Dakota to avoid and suspend all contacts and outreach activities with the Council on American Islamic Relations, and to increase interstate efforts to protect the citizens of South Dakota from the real threats of Islamic terrorism.
This is from my analysis (that the above new research seems to support) of her November 2017 University of South Dakota public presentation using deception to denigrate the so-called Islamophobia Network:
During the USD presentation Taneeza said, "This resolution primarily asked law enforcement and other government agencies not to work with CAIR affiliates. During my testimony, I argued that because there is no CAIR chapter here in South Dakota, if we just inserted the word ‘Muslim’ instead of ‘CAIR’ into the resolution, it was asking law enforcement and government agencies not to work with Muslim communities."
CAIR does not need a chapter in South Dakota, because they have Taneeza Islam to carry water for them. Taneeza worked as a so-called Civil Rights Director for CAIR-MN from 2008 to 2012. The resolution should have been a warning in regard to Taneeza Islam, as she has brought CAIR’s agenda to South Dakota, and should be considered CAIR’s unofficial affiliate. CAIR reported on her April 9th protest of Christian pastor Shahram Hadian on their National Facebook page. Sadly, South Dakota’s media and law enforcement agencies don’t have enough understanding, which is partially caused by the Marxists, Islamists, and inter-faith apostates joining forces to denigrate those exposing the truth by calling them racists, bigots and Islamophobes.
During the USD presentation, Taneeza bragged about all the attention she got from the South Dakota media in regard to her lobbying. Keloland, a CBS affiliate, quoted Taneeza in regard to the CAIR resolution, "This is a thinly-veiled attempt to tell Muslims in South Dakota that we're quashing your civil rights and civil liberties." And, "It shocks my conscience that South Dakota legislators would be using such hate and fear-mongering tactics." And, "They're sending a very clear message that they don't want Muslims to be here or that we don't have the same rights as everybody else and I take it as a very direct attack."
All of those quotes are smokescreens designed to distract from the discussion on the real agenda of CAIR. The resolution was not a direct attack on Muslims, but a sincere concern regarding CAIR’s involvement with terrorist organizations. Instead of listening to those warning South Dakota about this Muslim Brotherhood front that was created in 1993 by pro-Hamas activists in Philadelphia, the Fraternal Order of Police decided to join forces with Taneeza. During the USD presentation she said the Fraternal Order of Police joining in with their cause "was very pivotal for our coalition and the momentum that we garnered." South Dakota’s law enforcement is lacking the ability to understand the tactics being used by Muslim Brotherhood propagandists.
A little research uncovers Taneeza’s anti-law enforcement history. In 2009, as Civil Rights Director for CAIR-MN, Taneeza protested students being investigated by the FBI in regard to the whereabouts of several male Somali students whom have gone missing and were suspected of leaving the US to fight in Somalia’s long-running civil war. Islam said, “Students' legal rights need to be upheld and they aren't currently being afforded the only true legal protection they have when talking to the law enforcement - an attorney." So students have to hire an attorney in order to help law enforcement find missing Somali students? Why would Taneeza not be concerned about the missing Somalia students? It does seem possible that her actions helped to instill fear of law enforcement in the people in the Muslim communities.
So during the Q&A I asked her this:
“So as we talk about the evolution of Sharia, there are members of a group called the Muslim Brotherhood who argue we are going too far away from the foundational belief system of Muhammed, and they want to restore that and actually implement full Sharia, establish a caliphate and implement full blown worldwide Sharia Law. And do you denounce the Muslim Brotherhood for that position and their support of Hamas.”
Taneeza’s response:
“I denounce terrorism in all its forms. I don’t know what your definition of Sharia is, but my definition of Sharia does not match up with your question. So we need to back up and talk outside about what Sharia is, because that was the whole point of that slide, was to tell you that what the average person understand about Sharia is not in fact what it is. Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas…(she hesitated, giggled, hesitated)…there are generations of history that go into these organizations, Why they were formulated and why they exist. There is political parties, there is military, there is a whole bunch of stuff that cannot be answered in one minute. So I am going to prefer to talk to you off line.”
This was my take on her non-answer:
Taneeza used the typical Islamist propaganda technique of denouncing terrorism, but not publically denouncing the Muslim Brotherhood nor Hamas, who is officially a terrorist group. She starting her non-answer with the premise that I am talking about terrorism, and she is talking about moderate Islam. My question was about denouncing the Muslim Brotherhood’s “conservative” Wahhabi brand of Islam that rejects the “liberal” evolving so-called moderate brand. The question did not have anything to do with my definition of Sharia. She was trying to recreate the smokescreen that my question had blown away. She did not want her real agenda to be exposed. And that agenda would be setting up South Dakota to go down the Muslim Brotherhood’s path of Civilizational Jihad and the implementation of Sharia Law in South Dakota, just like she did in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
Now the new research I provided at the top of this confirms that Taneeza Islam would be violating "Islamic doctrine, law, and history", if she would have publically denounced the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. Denouncing MB and Hamas would also mean denouncing CAIR. She calls herself a civil rights activist, but her real agenda is Islamic Civilization Jihad. She did that in Minnesota with CAIR-MN, and she is doing it now in South Dakota. Freedman explains it this way:
The subject at hand is complex, and there is an extraordinary amount of documentary evidence to support the assertions in this monograph. This volume, therefore, only scratches the surface.
Nevertheless, the monograph will refute the argument that Hamas does not exist in America, and will explore the many ways in which Hamas has abused the freedoms that America provides in order to accomplish its goals. By exploiting our open society, easy access to resources, and environment of rampant denial and political correctness, Hamas has been able to build strong positions from which to wage its own two-pronged program: violent jihad against Israel and the Jews, and civilization jihad against America.
This volume will disclose Hamas’ overlapping and interconnected alliances to its parent organization, the Muslim Brotherhood; its shield, CAIR; and the host of other closely-linked organizations that support it. It will show how the unholy liaison among Hamas, CAIR, and the Muslim Brotherhood has become a nexus through which an agenda to destroy both Israel by force and America by subversion has been developed.
Finally, it will reveal how the Hamas/CAIR/Muslim Brotherhood nexus poses a threat, not just to Israel, but to the fundamental principles on which the United States was founded, and thus to America itself.
Read the all thing as it is free for your personal use. I question whether Cory Heidelberger is open minded enough to take a serious look at this research. This is not about denigrated all Muslims, this is about the Muslim Brotherhood and their Jihadi agenda that does not necessary be of the violent type. He is still a victim of the Muslim Brotherhood's perceptive propaganda program that uses "islamophobe" in the same way people used to use the "N" word to denigrate black people. Ilana Freedman is not some lowly uniformed dupe that has been indoctrinated by Islamophobes. Her background includes this:
Ilana Freedman is a veteran intelligence analyst specializing in Islamic terrorism. Trained in Israel, where she lived for sixteen years, she has been tracking and analyzing Islamic terrorism for over three decades. She has authored several hundred articles published in the national and international press and on her blogs at GerardDirect.com and FreedmanReport.com.
Anyone willing to take you up on a debate?
Doubtful, but surely you'd be ready. Great research.
