Here is a little background on what happened last year in San Deigo:
Last night, San Diego Unified School District’s (SDUSD) Board of Education overturned its “anti-Islamophobia” bullying prevention initiative and adopted a new program entitled “No Place for Hate,” which was developed by the Anti-Defamation League and will focus on protecting students of all religious beliefs. In addition, the Board voted to back away from another formal partnership with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). The Board’s reversal is a response to a federal civil rights lawsuit filed by the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (FCDF) on behalf of five families and two organization that challenged the initiative’s constitutionality.
On April 5, 2017, the Board approved an Anti-Islamophobia initiative purportedly to combat the bullying of Muslim students. Among other benefits, the initiative instructed teachers and staff to promote Muslim culture, create safe spaces for Muslim students, and vet and revise curricula to ensure a more “positive” and “inclusive” portrayal of Islam. In addition, the initiative sought to formalize SDUSD’s longtime collaboration with CAIR, and it authorized the group to provide training materials, teach students about Islam during class time, and pass out religious materials.
On April 27, Charles LiMandri, FCDF President & Chief Counsel, emailed a detailed, three-page letter to each SDUSD board member and Superintendent Marten, informing them that the initiative, when implemented, would “likely violate the U.S. Constitution, and consequently would invite time-consuming and expensive legal challenges.” LiMandri recommended that the Board rescind the anti-Islamophobia initiative and pursue an anti-bullying measure that protected students of all religions.
SDUSD officials did not respond to the letter, nor did they rescind the policy at either of the two board meetings that were held prior to the filing of the original complaint on May 22, 2017. On June 28, FCDF filed an amended complaint adding additional state law claims, including violations of California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act and several provisions of the California Education Code.
Here is the latest ruling by the District Court:
A federal judge partially granted a motion Monday by San Diego's Unified School District (SDUSD) to strike references to the Council on American Islamic Relations' (CAIR) ties to Hamas from a lawsuit seeking to block the school system from working with CAIR.
The Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund's (FCDF) claims the school district violated the First Amendment's Establishment Clause, the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and California law by enacting a CAIR supported anti-Islamophobia/anti-bullying program last spring.
Mentioning CAIR's Hamas ties in the litigation was "impertinent, immaterial and scandalous," school district officials claimed in December. Including references to CAIR's Hamas connection and the fact some of its officials had been convicted on terrorism charges is intended to "inflame the public."
Court evidence from a terror-financing trial show that CAIR was formed by Muslim Brotherhood officials to serve a Hamas-support network operating in the United States during the 1990s. The FBI cut off non-investigative contact with CAIR in 2008, explaining that, "until we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and HAMAS, the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner."
The policy remains in effect.
This is relevant because CAIR has made "prioritized public schools as ground zero to advance its religious mission," the FCDF argued, saying it matters because the school district gave "a divisive religious group ... unprecedented decision-making authority" in a public school program.
The judge disagreed.
"Given the lack of pertinences or materiality to this case, their inclusion ... is likely intended to 'besmirch' Defendants and cast them in a derogatory light based on SDUSD's relationship with CAIR," wrote U.S. District Judge Cynthia Bashant.
CAIR's relationship with Hamas, "whether true or not," predates its work with the school district and is "superfluous historical allegations that should be stricken," she ruled.
The judge preserved provisions in FCDF's amended complaint relating to CAIR's hostility to Israel and allegations it "promotes discriminatory bias against non-Muslim students on the basis of their religion." While they may be "distasteful" and "unsavory," those provisions could call into question the "objectivity and accuracy" of CAIR-provided instructional materials.
First I would like to remind readers that Islamophobia is a modern term for the Quranic phrase "Fitnah", making the anti-Islamophobia curriculum a violation of the Establishment Clause.
Last night I read this from page 91 of Paul Sperry's, "Infiltration: How Muslim Spies and Subversives have Penetrated Washington":
Investigators compare it to the Mafia, the secret Sicilian society. In fact, Mafia comes from the Arabic word maehfil meaning union. Like mobsters, the Muslim Brothers operate a secret underworld of illegal activities conducted under the cover of fronts with legitimate-sounding names. THey launder money through constructions companies like BMI Inc. and tax-exempt charities like Happy Hearts Trust. [Note Taneeza Islam set up the non-profit "South Dakota Voices for Peance and Justice"]
Theirs is a highly organized and self-contained world, or underworld, according to investigators. The brothers have their own AFL-CIO; it's called ISNA. They have their own American Bar Association; it's called the Fiqh Council. They have their own VFW; it's called the American Muslim Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Council. They have their own NAACP; it's called CAIR....Their NEA is the Council on Islamic Education...
But the ummah underworld is harder to penetrate, investigators says, because it is shrouded by a major religion. Fearing accusations of religions bigotry, Washington is still reluctant to aggressively prosecute it.
Interesting how CAIR wants to have their cake and eat it too. They want to be a protected religion, but then they want their religious doctrine of "Fitnah" to be established in our public schools under the guise of anti-Islamophobia bullying, while they bully non-Muslims with their Islamophobia charges.
Second, the judge states that "history" has to be removed from this equation. Seems like the Muslim Brotherhood's plan to destroy America from within is well under way by removing history while replacing it with the Jihadi religion of Islam that does not allow critics of Islam. So therefore, those of us who insist on the truth are Islamophobes as the truth is not kind to Islam. There is no way for America to protect all religions if the supremacy of the Wahhabi version of Islam is allowed to be established in America, especially in our schools. South Dakota citizens need to be on the lookout for Islamic infiltration in our public schools.
