Hillary Clinton's campaign couldn't explain yesterday why it blew off warnings about felon-turned-fund-raiser Norman Hsu - and the Daily News learned FBI agents are collecting e-mail evidence in the widening scandal.

Clinton was forced Monday to give back a whopping $850,000 raised by convicted scam artist Hsu after learning his investment ventures were being probed by the FBI as a potential Ponzi scheme.

She earlier gave to charity $23,000 Hsu donated himself after reports revealed he fled sentencing for a $1 million scam in California in 1992.

Yesterday, the campaign insisted it did all it should to vet Hsu after California businessman Jack Cassidy warned in June that Hsu's investment operation was fishy. Cassidy e-mailed his tips to the California Democratic Party, which forwarded them to the Clinton campaign.

Cassidy did not want to talk about the case, saying he doesn't want to jeopardize the FBI's efforts. But he wants Hsu prosecuted. He told The News that Hsu was a reverse Robin Hood - "a hood robbin' the poor to give to the rich."

Anything goes for the humanists’ goal of socialism. But I do not think Mr. Open, Randell Beck, and his sidekick Todd Epp will be covering this scandal.

Clinton fundraiser misses court hearing

Democrat fundraiser and Clinton bundler, Norman Hsu, has failed to appear for a bail hearing in Redwood City, California. Don't you just hate it when this happens? He's going to lose $2 million in bail that he posted last week. A judge has issued a new warrant for his arrest. Hsu's lawyer says he doesn't know where he is. Well, I can tell you where he is. Try China! That's where all the Clinton fundraisers go when they want to flee the jurisdiction: the Riadys, the Lippo Group people, the Pauline Kanchanalaks. Remember all these people from the '96 fundraising scandal? They go to China. They don't show up to court. This guy was a fugitive for 15 years, and he turned himself in for that. You think he fled the heat? He got the hell out of Dodge over this fundraising stuff, folks, there's no question about it in my mind.

You know what a bundler is? Johnny Chung was one of the guys doing this, and Norman Hsu was doing it. There's a family out in California with the last name of Paw, P-a-w, they have a lot of pets, but they don't have much money, and they had never donated to politicians before. All of a sudden members of the family each were giving the maximum to the Clintons. They didn't have any money and they'd never made political donations before. This Norman Hsu was a bundler, he knew the Paws, who had a lot of pets, but no money, and he was out there bundling contributions from them. I guarantee you he has fled the jurisdiction. He is out of the country. Why didn't they take the guy's passport? Of course, the Clintons could have handled that. Well, an ex-president, future president, current US Senator, if you need a passport, you get a passport, assumed name or whatever. So Norman Hsu is gone; they will not find him. They'll not track him down. I guarantee you, folks, he's out of the country. And, of course, his lawyer doesn't know where he is. That's probably true, too.

Kathleen Willey’s problems continue

Kathleen Willey, the woman who says Bill Clinton groped her in the Oval Office, claims she was the target of an unusual house burglary over the weekend that nabbed a manuscript for her upcoming book, which promises explosive revelations that could damage Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Willey told WND little else was taken from her rural Virginia home as she slept alone upstairs – electronics and jewelry were left behind – and she believes the Clintons were behind it.

The break-in, she said, reminded her of the widely reported incident 10 years ago in which she claimed she was threatened near the same Richmond-area home by a stranger just two days before she was to testify against President Clinton in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case.

The theft of the manuscript early Saturday morning was suspicious, she told WND, coming only days after the first mainstream media mention of her upcoming book, which is expected to include accusations of campaign finance violations and new revelations about harassment and threats by the Clintons and their associates.

"Here we go again; it's the same thing that happened before," Willey told WND. "They want you to know they were there. And they got what they wanted. They pretty much managed to terrorize me again. It scared me to death. It's an awful feeling to know you're sound asleep upstairs and someone is downstairs."

The book, "Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton" by World Ahead Publishing, WND Books' partner, is due for release in November. Willey said the stolen manuscript was not the book's final copy.

Among its revelations is Willey's identification of the person who threatened her just prior to her testimony against President Clinton – a man who turned out to be linked to the Clintons.

Willey believes the break-in and theft were prompted by teasers of the book's contents published last week in U.S. News and World Report's "Washington Whispers" column and the New York Daily News.

Hillary for a New World Order

Some attack me for stating the agenda of the far-left movement is a New World Order that includes America giving up its sovereignty. This gives me the right to call such far-left advocates as being anti-American. This report exposes the truth that the New World Order is not a conspiracy theory, but a real agenda item of Hillary Clinton:

Does Sen. Hillary Clinton, the leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, endorse efforts to form a world government?

Video footage recently has surfaced that could force her to either affirm or distance herself from sentiments she expressed in 1999 during a ceremony in which former CBS News anchorman Walter Cronkite accepted the Norman Cousins Global Governance Award from the World Federalist Association.

In his acceptance speech, Cronkite embraced the idea that the U.S. would be subsumed into a regional or world government. His views were seconded by Clinton in a closed-circuit television link-up.

Cronkite said, "Today we must develop federal structures on a global level. To deal with world problems, we need a system of enforceable world law, a democratic federal world government."

Clinton, then first lady, congratulated Cronkite, saying, "For decades you told us 'the way it is,' but tonight we honor you for fighting for the way it could be."

On the presidential campaign trail, Clinton has not been challenged to state whether she opposes efforts toward integration, such as the trilateral effort between the U.S, Canada and Mexico under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.

At the Aug. 21 press conference concluding the third SPP summit in Montebello, Quebec, President Bush ridiculed "conspiracy theories" asserting the U.S. is developing "NAFTA Superhighways" and moving toward integration into a North American Union

A longer video version of the Cronkite-Clinton appearance shows the former CBS anchorman expanding on his views.

"First, we Americans are going to have to yield up some of our sovereignty," Cronkite said. "That's going to be to many a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new world order."

He continued, "What Alexander Hamilton wrote about the need for law among the 13 states applies today to the approximate 200 sovereignties in our global village, all of which are going to have to be convinced to give up some of that sovereignty to the better, greater union; and it's not going to be easy."

Writing about Cronkite's speech, WND founder and Editor Joseph Farah wrote in a 1999 editorial, "The man once described as the 'most trusted in America' has come out firmly, boldly, explicitly – and stupidly – for the formation of a global government at the expense of U.S. national sovereignty."

The World Federalist Association, now known as Citizens for Global Solutions, says its aim is to be build a "future in which nations work together to abolish war, protect our rights and freedoms and solve the problems facing humanity that no nation can solve alone."

The YouTube.com video also recalls a 1993 award the World Federalist Association gave to journalist Strobe Talbot for an editorial he wrote in Time magazine July 20, 1992.

Talbott argued that in the next hundred years, "nationhood as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority."

The video noted that in 1993, President Bill Clinton appointed Talbott ambassador at large.

Clinton had met Talbott at Oxford University, where they were both Rhodes Scholars.

Clinton campaign corruption

A shady Chinese megadonor to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has close ties to an aerospace mogul accused of placing his business interests before national security by sharing missile secrets with Beijing during the Clinton administration.

Before his forced resignation last week, Norman Yuan Yuen Hsu sat on the board of trustees of the liberal New School university in New York with former Loral Corp. head Bernard L. Schwartz, who was allowed to transfer restricted satellite and missile technology to a People's Liberation Army front after contributing a record amount of cash to President Clinton's 1996 campaign.

The New School has removed Hsu's name from its list of trustees. But the old list showing both Hsu and Schwartz is still captured on Google's cache files. Here is the screen shot.

Schwartz, vice chairman of the New School board, was among officials who introduced Hsu to the school's administration, WND has learned.

Last November, Schwartz and Hsu chaired a New School banquet at the Mandarin Oriental in New York which featured Sen. Clinton as keynote speaker. Clinton steered a $1 million federal grant to the college.

More recently, Schwartz and Hsu (pronounced shoo) appeared together at the New York Yacht Club for Democratic Rep. Patrick Kennedy's 40th birthday bash.

The pair are so-called HillRaisers – major donors to Clinton's war chest – with Hsu raising more than $1 million for her campaign. Hsu, like Schwartz, has lobbied the U.S. government to relax trade rules with China.

Before he was a Friend of Hill, Schwartz was a Friend of Bill. In fact, then-President Clinton feted Schwartz on his 71st birthday at a White House dinner.

Sources say Schwartz vouched for Hsu at New School, even though he was a fugitive convicted of grand theft in California.

New School President Bob Kerrey assumed Hsu, now in jail, was reputable. The former Democrat senator says he didn't question Hsu's credentials because he liked him. He also was taken by "his personal story, coming from China, and he had an interest in fashion as well."

"It all intrigued me," Kerrey said.

Of course, Hsu also gave generous sums of cash to Democrats and their causes, including The New School.

Kerrey assumed Hsu, a self-described apparel magnate, made his money in the garment industry. But even that claim is now in question.

It turns out that the various companies Hsu listed on federal campaign filings with the FEC no longer exist, and may always have been fictitious. Last decade Hsu declared bankruptcy.

The FBI has opened a criminal investigation into Hsu's fund-raising activities.

This all seems to be a continuation of the 1990’s Clinton Chinagate scandal:

During the last Clinton campaign of 1996, the People's Liberation Army launched a massive campaign to buy influence in the Democratic Party and steer military hardware and technology Beijing's way.

Reports by federal investigators say the PLA used a host of Chinese agents living in the U.S. as bagmen to funnel cash to the Clinton-Gore campaigns and gain access to the White House and sensitive government agencies.

Even U.S. corporate executives did their bidding. Most alarmingly, Schwartz persuaded the Clinton administration to give his Loral Space and Communications subsidiary a waiver to use inexpensive Chinese rockets to launch U.S. satellites into space.

Loral at the same time helped Beijing – over the objections of the U.S. intelligence community – improve its commercial space launchers. That in turn, helped make its nuclear-tipped missiles more reliable as ICBMs, several of which are aimed at U.S. cities.

In fact, it's believed China's recent downing of a satellite with a ground-based missile would not have been possible without Loral's technical assistance.

Schwartz, who was Clinton's top donor in the 1996 election cycle, insists his contributions did not buy policy changes regarding China. He says the favorable treatment he got from the administration was merely a "coincidence."

However, two months before he won a prized seat on a Commerce Department trade junket to China, he wrote a check to Democrats for $100,000. On the trip, Schwartz scored a meeting with China's top telecommunications official, which led to Loral winning a deal to provide cell phone service to China – a deal worth an estimated $250 million a year.

During the 1996 election cycle, moreover, Schwartz created his Loral Satellite and Communications subsidiary. He needed export controls loosened so the start-up unit could launch its satellites on cheap Chinese booster rockets, which are nearly identical to Beijing's strategic missiles that would greatly benefit from such dual-use U.S. technology transfers.

Schwartz lobbied the Clinton administration to transfer satellite export licenses to the more lenient Commerce Department. At the same time, he pumped $632,000 into Clinton-Gore and Democratic National Committee coffers.

That same year, in a major policy shift, President Clinton overturned an earlier 1995 decision by Secretary of State Warren Christopher and transferred authority for satellite export licenses to the Commerce Department, where Beijing managed to plant an agent by the name of John Huang. Loral got its waiver – over the objections of the Justice Department – and Schwartz kept on giving to the Clinton machine, in the end contributing well over $1 million.

Schwartz not only met with top officials at China Aerospace International Holding Ltd. – a PLA front – but he even formed a joint venture with the communist front company.

A key contact at China Aerospace was Liu Chaoying, a lieutenant colonel in the PLA.

In 1998, in the course of plea bargaining with the Justice Department, a Chinese bagman by the name of Johnny Chung confessed that at least $100,000 of his contributions to the DNC and the Clinton-Gore campaign had come from a Chinese aerospace executive – a lieutenant colonel in the Chinese military – who had given him $300,000. It was the same Chaoying involved with Loral, who happened to also be the daughter of the PLA's top general and a key member of China's Communist Party leadership.

Chung later told prosecutors that the $300,000 had been ordered into his bank account by the head of Chinese military intelligence, whom he said he met through the lieutenant colonel.

During the 1996 election cycle, Chung was a regular White House visitor. All told, he visited 57 times. During one visit to the first lady's office, he handed Hillary Clinton's chief of staff a check for $50,000. Three days earlier, he had received a $150,000 wire transfer from the Bank of China.

Hillary Clinton posed for a White House photo with Chung and two Chinese officials, and later penned a personal note on a print of the photo for Chung: "To Johnny Chung with best wishes and appreciation – Hillary Rodham Clinton."

Here is another Democrat sin that the Drive-by media will not vigorously persue:

Sen. Hillary Clinton distanced herself Thursday from a leading contributor to her presidential campaign after learning that the donor is a fugitive from the law.

Clinton, appearing at a child care event with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, said she was as shocked as anyone to learn that Norman Hsu is wanted in California for not showing up to a 1991 sentencing hearing relating to a grand theft plea deal.

"I wish Mr. Hsu well in dealing with the problems he's confronting," Clinton told reporters. "You're free to check with my campaign about how we vet people, but I think it's fair to say we were all very surprised by this."

Spitzer too came to Clinton's defense, saying she can't be expected to know the courtroom status of each of her donors.

"She has had hundreds of thousands of donors," said the governor, who is facing his own legal questions over campaign financing. "Come on, guys, let's get real."

Hsu, an apparel executive who never contributed any money to political campaigns before 2004, reportedly has raised more than $1 million for Democrats and is listed as one of the top 20 Democratic fundraisers in the country.

Questions for Hillary

Could Hillary win if the MSM asked these questions:

We all know how hard-hitting the mainstream media are when it comes to Hillary Clinton – not! In the interests of spurring some actual discussion about Hillary's qualifications to be president, I'm going to do the media's work for them and ask the questions they won't, questions raised from quotes featured in my book "I've Always Been A Yankees Fan: Hillary Clinton in Her Own Words."

1. In May of 2002, you went on the floor of the U.S. Senate and held up a copy of the New York Post, which had the headline "Bush Knew," implying that President Bush had advance knowledge of the 9-11 attacks, but did nothing to stop it. Was this a responsible thing for a U.S. senator to do, implying that the president allowed the 9-11 attacks to happen?
2. In 1991, you praised Anita Hill, saying she had "changed history with her courageous testimony." Do you really believe that Anita Hill was sexually harassed by Clarence Thomas? And if so, what is your opinion of powerful men who use the power of their positions to sexually harass younger, vulnerable women?
3. In 2001, you accused the Bush administration of adding arsenic to the nation's drinking supply. (You said, "How can the Bush administration justify wanting Americans to ingest more, not less, arsenic?") Can you explain to the American people why you think president Bush would want to add a poisonous element to our drinking supply?
4. In October of 2002, on the floor of the U.S. Senate, you stated that Saddam Hussein had "given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al-Qaida members." Are you willing to provide documentation of this, especially given the fact that you've said President Bush used "faulty evidence" to justify going into Iraq?
5. Your husband is making millions of dollars from speeches, as well as serving on several corporate boards. How will you guarantee that there will be no conflict of interest between his "outside interests" and your administration?
6. Ken Starr replaced Robert Fiske as the independent counsel. Robert Ray eventually replaced Ken Starr. Fiske has recently said about Starr's Whitewater investigation, "Everything I would have done, Ken Starr did." Robert Ray stated that your testimony in the White House Travel Office investigation was "factually inaccurate." Is it still your contention that Ken Starr and the independent counsel engaged in a "vast, right-wing conspiracy" against you and your husband?
7. Republican Rep. Dennis Hastert has stated that during a discussion of health care reform you told him: "People are basically greedy and won't make the tough decisions. They won't take their kid to the hospital when he needs to go because they want to keep the money for themselves." Is the former speaker of the House lying? If he's not lying, why do you have such a low opinion of parents in this country?
8. Back in the early '90s, Bob Woodward quoted you as saying, "I believe in evil and I think that there are evil people in the world." Instead of talking about Islamic terrorists, you were referring to people who were opposed to your health care reform plan. Do you still believe that people who are against health care reform are evil?
9. Woodward's Watergate partner, Carl Bernstein, has a biography about you. In it he quotes numerous Democrats, both on and off the record, speaking of your temper. Considering the fact that so many Democrats have spoken about your temper and poor judgment, do you think you posses the proper temperament and good judgment to be president of the United States?
10. Arkansas businesswoman Juanita Broaddrick has accused your husband of sexual assault. She's also said that just weeks after the rape, you approached her and gave her a message that she, Juanita, "was to keep her mouth shut" about the rape. Is Juanita Broaddrick lying?

Over to you, mainstream media! I won't hold my breath.

Hillary can’t handle the truth

A critic of Sen. Hillary Clinton's proposals for expanded health care guarantees took advantage of a blog function on Clinton's campaign website to express her objections, only to have the comments deleted – twice. The second time the website operators apparently deleted the entire blog page.

Kathy Hood said she went to the campaign blog site to object to comments the senator made about single mothers and the Bush administration.

"I saw her commercial in Iowa," Hood told WND. "She said we're [single mothers] invisible to the Bush administration."

But, she said, no one is "entitled" to free health care. "We're supposed to be responsible and provide for ourselves," she told WND. "She really insulted me and offended me [talking] about single moms being invisible."

So Hood looked up the U.S. Constitution's provisions regarding the responsibilities of Congress, and posted excerpts on her newly created blog on Clinton's website. It lasted only hours before being deleted. A second posting lasted about the same length of time, only long enough to attract one comment: "WHY DON'T YOU GO TO YOUR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE'S SITE INSTEAD OF SPENDING TIME HERE???? This site is for HILLARY SUPPORTER'S!!!! (sic)"

A spokesman in the media center for the Clinton campaign office in Virginia declined to accept a WND question by telephone, and there was no response to the question when it was e-mailed as directed.

Hood's extended posting said:

"It seems to me that you Hillary Dear need a lesson i[n] Civics 101. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of just what is and is not in Section 8 of The U.S. Constitution….

"Congress has the power to:

1. Lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises to PAY DEBTS and provide for the common defense and general welfare.
2. To borrow money on the credit of the U.S.
3. To establish uniform rules of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of bankruptcies.
4. To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, fix the standards of weights and measures.
5. Provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coins of the U.S.
6. To establish post office and post roads.
7. To promote the progress of science and USEFUL arts.
8. To define and punish piracies and felonies committed on the high seas and offenses against the law of nations.
9. To declare war, grant letters of marquee and reprisal, make rules concerning captures on land and water.
10. To raise and SUPPORT armies.
11. To provide and maintain a navy.
12. To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces.
13. To provide for the calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions.
14. To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the militia…

"Now Hillary Dear, with that said, would you mind telling me exactly where it states that U.S. citizens are entitled to FREE HEALTH CARE provided by Government????? You can't because it does not exist. Nor does the food stamp program, or the welfare program, section 8 reduced housing, school lunch programs, Medicaid, medicare, prescription assistance, etc.

"If you want to push a socialist agenda then I suggest you go to a country that is Socialist. As the 'smartest woman in the world' you should already know that our great nation is a capitalist nation, … founded on the concept of SELF-RESPONSIBILITY. That is how you made so much money. It is not my job or responsibility to prop up the lazy, the ignorant, or anybody that makes bad choices for themselves…," Hood wrote.

"For the record, I am a single mother that raised three children by myself, without the aid of welfare of any kind, and only earning $19,500 per year. Your current commercial running in my state of Iowa is an insult to me when you state that single mothers are 'invisible' to the Bush administration. Single mothers are not victims of anything. Those [who] want to make it in this world like I did work hard for what we have. Those who don't want anything in life are the ones that choose the nanny state that you are trying to usher through. If I can do it, so can everyone else," she said.

"Why don't you try telling people to get off of their butts and get a job, an education, and start supporting themselves. That is where they will find success, not from a government handout. This is America, not France, the UK, Sweden, Belgium or any of the other socialist countries that you seem to love more than your own," Hood wrote.

Blog posts that remained on the campaign website were from other writers, and all praised the candidate for one issue or another.

Hood also had posted a separate entry saying she was going to contact WND, as well as Fox News' Bill O'Reilly.

"That one has also disappeared from my blog," she told WND.

A direct link Hood provided WND for the blog resulted in a campaign website error messages saying: "Error The specified forum [400010827] was not found."

Hillary not so open

Let’s see Todd Epp complain about this:

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton cites her experience as a compelling reason voters should make her president, but nearly 2 million pages of documents covering her White House years are locked up in a building here, obscuring a large swath of her record as first lady.

Clinton's calendars, appointment logs and memos are stored at her husband's presidential library, in the custody of federal archivists who do not expect them to be released until after the 2008 presidential election.

A trove of records has been made public detailing the Clinton White House's attempts to remake the nation's healthcare system, following a request from Bill Clinton that those materials be released first. Hillary Clinton led the healthcare effort in 1993 and 1994.

But even in the healthcare documents, at least 1,000 pages involving her work has been censored by archives staff because they include confidential advice and must be kept secret under a federal law called the Presidential Records Act. Political consultants said that if Hillary Clinton's records were made public, rivals would mine them for scraps of information that might rattle her campaign.

Hillary wanted to change talk radio legislatively

Here is what happened three years ago:

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and Senate colleague Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., want to "fix" talk radio because of its conservative influence on America, according to Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla.

Appearing on John Ziegler's evening show on KFI 640 AM radio in Los Angeles, Inhofe reported hearing Clinton and Boxer discussing plans for a "legislative fix" and confronting them about it.

Inhofe told Ziegler he'd been walking to a vote "with two liberal gals" who were outraged over something a conservative radio talk show host had said, according to the Breitbart.tv recording.

"They said we've got to do something about this. These are nothing but far right-wing extremists. We've got to have a balance. There's got to be a legislative fix for this," Inhofe said.

"As we got off the elevator, I said, you gals don't understand. This is market driven, and there's no market for your liberal tripe," Inhofe said.

Inhofe told Ziegler that such complaints about the opinions expressed by talk show hosts is "common chatter" in Washington.

Ziegler asked if the two were talking about shutting talk radio down, and Inhofe said, "They just want to influence it."
